Lohri Celebration at District Bar Association Jalandhar

The  warmth in the air as District Bar Association  celebrate the Lohri festival,  one of the most awaited and significant festivals in North India. The festival marks the end of the winter solstice and the beginning of longer days. The Lohri festival was organized by the Executive Committee of District Bar Association Jalandhar under the presidentship of Sh. Aditya Jain,  Advocate and all the Judicial Officers posted at the Jalandhar Division were invited. Ms. Rupinderjit Chahal along with all the Judicial Officers graced the occasion in mark of good relations between Bar and Bench.. The festival featured  traditional folk music, dance performances, and of course, the bonfire, which is the centerpiece of the Lohri celebration. Judicial Officers and members of DBA treated to an array of delicious snacks and sweets, including the traditional Lohri delicacy of rewri and gajak.  Sh. Aditya Jain, President DBA Jalandhar and Sh. Tejinder Singh Dhaliwal Secretary DBA Jalandhar honored the esteemed guests.  The Executive Committee and Members of DBA Advocates Advocates Sh. Bhupnesh Mehta, Sh. Ravish Malhotra,  Sh. Bhupinder Singh Kalra, Ms. Beena Rani, . Karan Kumar Rai, Nimrata Gill, Manik Soni, Jasbir Singh, Gurpreet Singh, Bharti Vandana, Pushpinder Kaur,  OP Sharma, Narinder Pal Singh Judge, Baltej Singh Dhillon, Navtej Singh Toor, Sanjeev Bansal, Gurbachan Lal Gagneja, GK Agnihotri, KDS Randhawa, Sh. Kohli, Nikhil Sharma, and other Senior Advocates along with lady members of DBA graced the occasion.
